Our founder, Kelly knows exactly how it feels to be let down by the bridal store experience.
When she was searching for her own dream dress, she noticed that many stores failed to stock an adequate range of sizes and were letting down their clients.
Defining the plus-size bride experience
If Kelly picked out a style she loved, often her only option was to hold a size 12 dress up against herself and imagine what she’d look like wearing it.
She noticed that the dresses that were available in her size were often frumpy or designed to “flatter” by covering her up completely – OK for some, but not her style.
It wasn’t good enough for Kelly, and it’s certainly not good enough for our fabulous brides!
