All of your Important questions answered.

  • How much do wedding dresses cost?

Our wedding dresses vary, we have a few different ranges in store. Our to order dresses range from £795 to £2300 but average around £1300-1600. We also keep a range of ‘off the peg’ dresses, these are a mix of ex display samples, over stocks and catwalk samples and they are usually £800 and under.

  • How do I pay for my wedding dress?

It’s a 50% initial payment for bridal gowns that are ordered in and full payment for off the peg gowns

  • When should I shop for my wedding dress?

Our best advice is to start shopping when you are ready to find and buy your dress, you never really know if you will find your dress in shop 1 or shop 101, but you want to be in a position to order it if you find it.

  • How long do wedding dresses take to arrive in to store?

They can take up to 6 months to arrive into store, we also need to allow enough time for the seamstress to undertake the necessary alterations. Ideally you will have ordered by at least 9-10 months before your wedding. Often people order much more in advance of this.

  • What happens with my wedding dress after I’ve purchased it?

Once your gown arrives into store, we will contact you to come in within 14 days to try it on. We then are happy to store your gown FREE OF CHARGE until the wedding date that you gave to us when you ordered your gown. This is very different to most stores who ask you to take your gown home with you

  • Do you charge for steaming?

All gowns are steamed upon arrival and we offer a FREE OF CHARGE steaming service after your alterations to ensure your gown is perfect for your wedding. Please book in with us to make use of this service .

  • Help! My wedding is only 3 months away!

Our appointments are 1.5 hours long.

  • How many guests can I bring?

Our advice is to bring your key decision makers with you, always shop with the people whose opinion you value and who’s opinion is important to be there when you have your yes moment. For seating purposes though, we can comfortably seat up to 4 guests. Please let us know your number of guests upon booking.

  • Can I bring children?

We do love children in store, but often small children running around can make it quite stressful for the bride, so in a perfect world we would discourage you bringing them so the bride has the best experience possible, we do know that life isn’t always black and white though so if you do bring them, they must be supervised by one of the wedding party. It also might be worth bringing an iPad as kiddies get bored quickly.

  • What Sizes do you stock?

We keep sizes for all brides, we keep over 200 dresses in store and have dresses as small as a 6, we then cater through the sizes to a 34.

Yes, we are the areas leading stockist of plus size bridal gowns. We have lots of choice and you won’t be limited to just a couple of dresses to try on.

  • What do I need to bring to my appointment?

In short, nothing but yourself. We don’t require any special underwear unless you have something specific you’d like to wear. Quite often you won’t need a bra with your wedding dress. We would request you wear pants/knickers for your appointment as we wouldn’t be able to try on without them.

  • Do you offer alterations?

We do not have an in-house seamstress but we can book you in with a very experienced alterations specialist who has looked after our brides for 15 years. You pay her direct for any alterations. you are also welcome to use your own seamstress. we suggest you budget around £200-£250 for bridal alterations.

  • Are photos allowed in store?
